Brian Redfern is a scenic designer based in Southern California. Primarily designing for the stage, Brian thrives on collaboration with other artists and melding his personal aesthetic with the needs of each unique production. His diverse background also includes experience in production design for short films, interior design, scenic art, technical direction and carpentry, corporate and themed entertainment design as well as more than a decade of teaching experience at both the secondary and collegiate levels.

Brian has worked as the assistant set designer on numerous productions at regional theaters throughout the U.S., in Canada, China, and the U.K.

He holds a Master of Fine Arts in scenic design from San Diego State University, a Master of Theatre Studies in production and design from Southern Oregon University and is a member of United Scenic Artists Local USA 829.
